Two templates are available: One has fields for all 6 of the instruments types, and the other has all fields, except for interest-rate swaps.
The templates include sample bonds, loans, and other fixed income instruments with proper formatting for ALM analysis.
These template spreadsheets can be uploaded to run on the ALM application, for an initial testing. Users can compare the formatting of their data to the formatting of these sample portfolios.
This spreadsheet provides the acceptable values for each instrument type in the Portfolio Spreadsheet, including the required formatting of values and correct spelling of required inputs, such as "12-month", and "Actual/365".
Most importantly, the template instructs, per asset-type and liability-type, which fields are required input fields, which fields are results fields, and which fields may be left blank if not applicable, such as for adjustable-rate loan information.
